About Me

Little Mountain is my Music Supervision company.

I love working with filmmakers, creating a vision that serves a story, character or mood.

I started my career on the production side of things. Graduating USC's Film School in '99, I started as a film runner and was quickly promoted to director's assistant. It was during the post-production of "15 Minutes" (Robert DeNiro, Ed Burns) where I was fascinated by the work of Music Supervisor Dana Sano. When she left to start her own company, I joined her.

Do I have a stocked iPod? Yes, I have three of them. However, in the tight budget world of independent film, it takes a strategy based on the director's vision, budget, and schedule. Running my own record label (Summer Adventure Club) also keeps the soundtrack strategy at the top of my mind. I've never been over budget and I've successfully delivered over a dozen films to distribution companies and always pass E&O without a hitch.

Ultimately we are all chasing great art, and when my guidance gives a director that possibility, I've done my job.

My favorites songs are regularly presented in a podcast which you should subscribe to immediately ;)

If you’re interested to know what I’m listening to this very second, check out my last.fm page. My music habits for the last few years are also recorded there. I love to share new music ideas - feel free to hit me up with any suggestions~
